RUDY VAN GIFFEN
Rudy était originaire de Malaisie. De nationalité néerlandaise, il avait
choisi de s'installer à Limoux, dans ce pays cathare qu'il aimait tant. Nous lui devons de magnifiques illustrations sur Trencavel,
l'infortuné vicomte de Béziers-Carcassonne, assassiné à 24 ans et aussi les affiches de nos pièces de théâtre médiévales.
C'est tout naturellement que Rudy a tenu à dessiner les illustrations de notre livre sur Massoud. Des illustrations
uniques pour un homme unique (Massoud) et par un homme unique (Rudy). Un trésor précieux que nous chérirons toute notre vie
tout comme son chaleureux sourire. Merci Rudy ! Te voici devenu immortel !
RUDY VAN GIFFEN
Rudy came from Malaisia. A dutch citizen, he came one day to Limoux
and settled down in the Cathar country, which he loved so much. We owe him the beautiful illustrations of
Trencavel, the unfortunate viscount of Beziers-Carcassonne, killed at 24 years old and also the posters of our medieval performances.
Most naturally, Rudy made a point of honour in illustrating our book about Massoud. Special illustrations for a special
man (Massoud) and by a special man (Rudy). A most valuable treasure that we will cherish forever as we will cherish his warm
smile. Thank you Rudy! You have now become immortal!
